Dr. Mroueh joined the Lebanese American University School of Pharmacy in 1995. His PhD and MS studies at the University of Houston was in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology with emphasis on drug discovery and development from natural products. His postdoctoral studies at MD Anderson Cancer Center was on mechanisms of cyclophosphamide resistance in human myeloid leukemia cells. Dr. Mroueh was Acting Dean of the School of Pharmacy from 2004 until 2005. His current research is focused on Lebanese cannabis.
