Dr. Mehanna joined the Lebanese American University School of Pharmacy in 2023. His PhD and MS studies at the University of Alexandria was in the field of drug delivery with emphasis on design and evaluation of nanotechnological carrier-based modern dosage forms. Before joining the School of Pharmacy, Dr. Mehanna was professor and chair of Industrial Pharmacy department at Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria university, Egypt. His current research is focused on innovative pharmaceutical nanotechnology.
