Students Awards

The following awards are offered by the LAU School of Pharmacy to its graduating students. Each award consists of a recognition plaque.

For graduating students with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy degree

Highest GPA Award

This award is in recognition of a student who is graduating from the B.S. in Pharmacy program with the highest overall GPA.

Professionalism Award

This award is in recognition of a student who is graduating from the B.S. in Pharmacy program and who has shown outstanding professionalism in character and behavior during the third professional year (P3) clerkship rotations.

Outreach Award

This award is in recognition of a student who is graduating from the B.S. in Pharmacy program and who has led or been extensively involved in community engagement activities, projects, or programs that promote pharmacy awareness, outreach services and improve public health.

Therapeutics Award

This award is in recognition of a student who is graduating from the B.S. in Pharmacy program with the highest cumulative GPA in Therapeutics course series.

For graduating students with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree

Highest GPA Award

This award is in recognition of a student who is graduating from the Pharm.D. program with the highest overall GPA.

Professionalism Award

This award is in recognition of a student who is graduating from the Pharm.D. program and who has shown outstanding professionalism in character and behavior during the fourth professional year (P4) clerkship rotations.

Clinical Excellence Award

This award is in recognition of a student who is graduating from the Pharm.D. program and who has demonstrated outstanding clinical knowledge, practice skills and professional standards during the fourth professional year (P4) clinical clerkship rotations.

Pharmacy Curriculum Exit Exam (PCEE) Award

This award is in recognition of Pharm.D. student with the highest score on the PCEE, which is an assessment tool that measures individuals’ performance in various content areas of the program.
