Experiential Education
The experiential education program is managed by the experiential education committee headed by the assistant dean for experiential education and residency program (Dr. Nibal Chamoun) and composed of clinical faculty and preceptors supported by the experiential education coordinator (Ms. Marie Sili) (Read the school’s bylaws).
The program offers pharmacy students structured active learning opportunities in a real-world practice environment. These include the introductory pharmacy practice experiences (IPPEs) and advanced pharmacy practice experiences (APPEs) and incorporate components of interprofessional education and collaborative practice and co-curricular activities. These experiences are delivered by qualified preceptors in official partnerships with a diverse mix of high-quality practice sites selected based on and regularly assessed according to selective quality criteria.
